Appointment and Walk-in Policies
Appointments
Appointments must be made with our on-line scheduling app. Please go to the Appointments page. You can also call the store and we will make the appointment for you using the app.
Customers with appointments recieve priority in evaluating their items for buy-out with store credit or consignment.
We will evaluate your items and keep what is to be bought out or consigned, and return the remaining items to you. You will be informed at that time of the store credit we are offering.
If you leave before the conclusion of your appointment, your unaccepted items will be treated as drop offs from a walk-in customer. These are donated to a charity of our choice and will not be returned to you.
Walk-in Customers without Appointments
Cutomers who wish to drop off their items for evaluation for store credir by walking in without an appointment may do so, with strict limitations. We only accept a limited number of drop-offs each week, and often will not accept any.
Please call the store in advance or check our Facebook or Instagram pages to see if we are accepting drop-offs.
In order to walk in and drop off items, you must be a registered customer with a current phone number and email address. If you are not a registered customer, we will create your customer account when you come in.
We do not guarantee acceptance of any of your items when you drop them off. Your items will be evaluated when we are able, and we’ll let you know how much store credit has been added to your account.
Any items we don't accept will be donated to a charity of our choice. We do not return drop-off items that we haven't accepted. If you wish to have unaccepted items returned to you, you must make an appointment and stay for the duration.
Donations
We gladly accept donations, subject to the same limitations as walk-in customers. Please call the store in advance to see if we can accept your donation.
We not a non-profit organization. Your donation is not tax-deductable.
We will process your donation and credit a community service account for the items we accept. This account is used by select community partners to help out families in need. We will donate what we cannot use to a charity of our choice.
Consignment and Store Credit Policies
Items Accepted
We accept all sizes of high-quality kids’ clothing, shoes, toys, games, puzzles, books, sportswear, baby gear, room decor, small furniture, and more.
All items must be clean and in good working condition:
- Items with batteries must include them and function properly.
- Power cords and/or charging cables must be included if required.
- Clothing must be neatly folded, free of stains, tears, rips, or other damage.
Please bring your items in plastic tubs or cardboard boxes — we will not accept items in garbage bags.
We only select items we believe will sell in our store. We may decline to accept some or all of your items.
We have the right to refuse to accept any and all items brought into our store that, at our sole discretion, are unacceptable, too dirty, or will not sell.
Store Credit for Buy-out Items
Items with a retail value of under $50 are purchased from customers with store credit. We do not offer cash. Items with a retail value over $50 will be eligible for consignment. You will have the choice to accept store credit or consign these items.
Store credit is not redeemable in cash and must be used in the store. Store credit will expire after 3 years and must be used before then.
Store Credit Limits
Your store credit can be used for most items in the store. Store Credit cannot be used for Girl Scout Merchandise and items listed in our on-line store.
We reserve the right to exclude any other items in the store from being purchased with store credit.
Store credit can be applied up to 50% of each purchase. The remaining balance must be paid with any of the other payment methods we accept.
Consignment
You may choose to consign items with a retail value over $50. Consigned items will be displayed for sale in the store for 90 days. We may, at our sole discretion, choose to display it in our on-line store as well.
When an item is sold, your consignment account will be credited 40% of the
selling price for items sold under $100, and 50% for items priced over $100. Consignment accounts my be redeemed in cash or used in the store.
You will have the choice to discount your items if they have not been sold after 30, 60, and 90 days.
If your items remain unsold after 90 days, we will contact you and give you the choice of picking them up, donating them to a charity of our choice, or continuing to display them for another 30 days. If you choose pick up, you must do so within 5 business days. We will donate the items if not picked up by then.
Consignment Credits & Payouts
Credit earned from the sale of consigned items may be redeemed in cash or used for anything in the store. Consignment credit can be used for up to 100% of each purchase.
Consignment credit under $20 can be redeemed any time and will be paid in cash at the store. No more than 2 cash redemptions will be allowed per month. Amounts over $20 will be paid with a check. Checks will be available on the 16th of each month. It the 16th falls on a weekend, checks will be available the following Monday. Checks must be requested no later than the 10th
of each month for payment by the 16th. Checks will not be mailed.
