How does your store work?

Customers bring in their gently used merchandise for us to look at. Most items are purchased from customers with store credit.  We do not offer cash.  Larger items with a retail value over $50 will be eligible for consignment.  You will have the choice to accept store credit or consign these items.  

How does consignment work?

When you consign an item, it is displayed in the store for 90 days. Depending on the item, we may choose to display it in our on-line store as well. If it sells, you will be credited a percentage of the sales price, typically between 30% - 40%. If the item is not sold after 90 days, you will have the choice to either donate the item or to pick up the item up within 5 days.

What do you accept for consignment or buy-out?

We accept all sizes of high-quality kids’ clothing, shoes, toys, games, puzzles, books, sportswear, baby gear, room decor, small furniture, and more.

All items must be clean and in good working condition:

  • Items that use batteries must function as intended by the manufacturer.
  • Power cords and/or charging cables must be included if required.
  • Clothing must be neatly folded, free of stains, tears, rips, or other damage.

Please bring your items in plastic tubs or cardboard boxes — we will not accept items in garbage bags.

We only select items we believe will sell in our store, so please understand that we may decline to accept some or all of your items.  Thanks for understanding and helping us keep our store full of high-quality merchadise.

How can I consign or get store credit for my items?

It’s easy! Just give us a call to schedule an appointment and bring your items in. During your appointment, we’ll carefully look through everything and let you know which items we can consign or buy outright.

Any items we aren’t able to accept will be returned to you at the end of your appointment, or, if you prefer, donated to a charity of our choice.

If you need to leave before we finish evaluating your items, your things will be
processed under our drop-off policy instead. This means we’ll review them later at our convenience. You will be given store credit for accepted items. The rest will be donated to the charity of our choice. Drop-off items will not be returned once left with us.

Can I drop off items without an appointment?

We accept only a limited number of drop-offs, and we can’t guarantee acceptance of any of your items in advance. Your items will be evaluated when we are able, and we’ll let you know how much store credit has been added to your account.

Any items we can’t accept will be donated to a charity of our choice. We do not return drop-off items that we haven't accepted, so please only leave things you’re comfortable donating.

When will my account be credited?

Customers using an appointment will be given store credit for buy out items within 1 business day.  Customers who drop off their items will receive their store credit within 5 business days.

What can I use my store credit for?

Your store credit can be used for most items in the store, making it a fun
way to turn outgrown or unused things into new treasures! Store Credit cannot be used for Girl Scout Merchandise and items listed in our on-line store.

We reserve the right to exclude any other items in the store from being purchased with store credit. These items will be marked appropriately.

How much of my store credit can be used at a time?

Store credit can be applied up to 50% of each purchase. The remaining balance must be paid with any of the other payment methods we accept.

For example, if your total is $20, you can use up to $10 in store credit and pay the other $10 with cash, card, or another accepted payment method.

This policy helps us cover our operating costs so we can keep bringing in great items and keep the store open. Thanks for your understanding!

Can I cash out my store credit?

You can only cash out store credit earned from consigned items. Store credit given for buy-out items must be used in the store.
